Julie Surrey began her career as a performer in the Storybook Playhouse, the only Children’s Repertory Theatre Company in Los Angeles. She worked in television at CBS and on The Six Million Dollar Man. Julie has established herself as a Global Producer with events in 6 continents. She has managed meetings, trade shows, exhibit halls and events for the following companies: Nation’s Restaurant News, Drug Store News, Home Channel News, Chain Store Age, Ventura Foods, American Express, Coca-Cola, IBM, Rotary International, Young Presidents’ Organization, Revlon, Colgate-Palmolive, the Food Marketing Institute, the American Trial Lawyers Association, Crystal Charity Ball and the NYC Fire Department. She has worked with celebrities ranging from Christopher Walken/Viggo Mortensen/Ray Charles/ to the Dixie Chicks/Liza Minnelli/Gladys Knight (with Pips and without). She has a B.A. from Hampshire College in Psychology and Theatre Arts, and her thesis was in Drama and Movement Therapy with Autistic Children.

A proud graduate of Hampshire College in Theater Directing and Design with special internship at the Yale School of Drama, Tina Volz-Bongar is veteran of art departments of independent feature films, from “Avenging Angel” to “Runaway Train” to “Bad Influence.” In addition to this set design and decoration work, Tina did a stint in advertising copyediting at McCann Erickson. Tina has also been an intergral part of building her husband’s entertainment and events business, Bongarbiz. Bongarbiz has produced events for PepsiCo, Microsoft, Disney, and the New York Stock Exchange, to include a few. Currently she is pitching and developing a TV Comedy series in addition to building the business of Creative Planette.
